Alanda Hop is Alanda Club Marbella’s Timeshare Program, a system designed to ensure that you can enjoy your holiday apartment by the beach year after year, with all services included.
This gives you the right to use and enjoy one of our apartments at Alanda Club Marbella every year for one or more weeks. This system is perfect for people who wish to enjoy their “home away from home” on the Costa del Sol year after year without having to purchase property or deal with the hassles of renting.
Purchasing the rights to use a Timeshare apartment is a simple and safe operation, provided you are dealing with a company that can offer guarantees, one which strictly abides by Spanish legislation and all EU Timeshare Regulations, as is the case with the McInerney Group and its affiliate, Alanda Club Marbella.
The purchase of Timeshare rights is a long term investment for your holiday plans and also the perfect way to enjoy a custom-made holiday package, since you can reserve the type of week that best suits your needs, depending on whether you have small children, or if you prefer to travel in the winter, etc.

HOW DO I PURCHASE A HOLIDAY PACKAGE THROUGH THE ALANDA HOP PROGRAM? Our Alanda Hop Timeshare Program allows you to choose from two different purchasing options which are designed to meet your needs and budget:
Option 1: Alanda Points
In the Alanda Points sales system, every week is assigned a specific number of points, depending on the season, apartment size and demand.
Using this system, customers can exchange their points for a stay at our resort on different dates or in different types of apartments. These points can also be exchanged through the exchange company Interval International which allows customers to enjoy a wide range of top class resorts all over the world. Customers enjoy maximum flexibility when reserving dates, apartment types and the resort that they wish to stay at.
To reserve a week at Alanda Club Marbella, you would use your points to “pay for” the value of the week that you wish to reserve.
For example:
You have a week that is valued at 1,050 points. However, you want to reserve two weeks that are valued at 400 points each.
Subject to availability, you then reserve the two 400-point weeks and you have a balance of 250 points that you can either use the same year or save up for next year.
You can also request to “borrow” points from next year’s balance of points to make a reservation at Alanda Club Marbella or with any other resort affiliated with the international exchange company Interval International.
You can also take advantage of fantastic offers at special times of the year, such as:
- Midweek stays (4 nights) at 50% off the week’s normal point value.
- Last minute reservations for available weeks at discounts of up to 50% off the week’s normal point value.
Option 2: Traditional Timeshare System
In this system, the customer acquires the rights to use an apartment for a specific amount of time (weekly) on an annual basis. This system is best for people who like to come back to the same holiday spot year after year, at the same time of year and in the same type of apartment, while still having the flexibility of an exchange program.
The price of Timeshare weeks varies depending on the following factors
- Apartment size
- The apartment's location in the Resort (depending on what Phase it is in).
- The time of year you wish to use the apartment, which determines when you can exercise your occupation rights at the resort and which phase your apartment will be located in.
Ownership rights on the week are permanent and the member pays an annual maintenance charge for using the resort (or one of the resorts associated with Interval International).

In a traditional situation where you buy a second residence, you have to pay Owners' Association fees or property maintenance charges for communal areas, even if you only use your home once or twice a year.

The JCI-Alanda Card is absolutely free and comes at no cost.
